
What do we mean by "independent?" By that, we mean that we are a local, autonomous church, answerable to no governing ecclesiastical body here on Earth.
What do we mean by autonomous, or the autonomy of the local church? That answer has three parts:

We hold unashamedly to certain doctrines and and convictions that we believe are characteristic of those who are born again and desire God's best for their life. We hold to the historical Baptist position as to the Church and church polity. We do not claim that the Baptists are the only ones to hold any truth; but we do believe that a church that holds to the historic Baptist position is the local church closest to the pattern of New Testament churches.
